LastPass – Download & Software Review

So, you can use it without paying any money. It was first released in the year 2008. Also, this software is developed by LogMeIn and distributed by Marvasol, Inc. The main feature is that you can secure all your passwords with a single master password. You just need that master password in order to access any of your saved passwords. Moreover, the encryption of data is done by  AES-256 encryption. Plus, it also has support for PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes. Most importantly, the encryption and decryption are done at the device level. It makes sure that the passwords are protected across the devices. Other than that, there is support for two-factor authentication. It is done through LastPass authenticator app as well as YubiKey.So, security is world-class.

Along with the above features, LastPass offers cross-platform compatibility. It means that the software is available for multiple platforms. Those platforms include:
