Nvidia Shadowplay is a hardware-accelerated software which is used for screen recording. It uses GeForce GPUs in order to do so. It was first released in the year 2013. Also, as the name suggests, this software is developed and distributed by Nvidia. It will provide you with the ultimate gaming and streaming experience. The only condition to use this software is that your system must have a GeForce graphics card. The main feature of the software is that it allows you to configure the software in a way to record continuously time behind. Also, it enables you to save the video retroactively. There are two different capture methods available for the users. These methods are given below:
- Frame Buffer Capture. (NVBFC)
- Inband Frame Readback. (NVIFR)
In the first mode, NVBFC is a full-screen mode where you can capture the full screen. Plus, it will enable you to capture single-window rather than the full-frame buffer.
Along with the above features, Nvidia Shadowplay is only available for Windows PC. This software won’t let down the performance of the software. Because it encodes from GPU. So, it won’t slow down your device. There is another great feature that allows you to optimize the game library. So, your games don’t lag even a bit. Also, it has a feature known as Instant Replay. Through this, you can record the last 5 or 20 minutes of your gameplay. You can set the timings as per your requirement.
